Who we are

My name is Anna Votsi, and I am the founder and editor of Kefalonia by Anna. I moved to the island with my family when my son, now 14 years old, was just 45 days old!

Although many things have changed since then, I can say without a doubt that it was the best decision of my life.

I studied Art, Electronic Media and Film Studies, in England and for over 15 years, I worked on the production of major cultural events and festivals in London and Athens. It was an incredible experience, but eventually, I grew tired of city life.

Now, I live in Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, and for the past 13 years, I have been deeply involved in tourism.

I manage rental properties, organize tailor made tours and activities, create videos and documentaries, and work when possible as a local coordinator, and location manager for international companies producing events on or about the island.

My passion is exploring and capturing the beauty of this unique island through my camera, sharing it with you on this personal travel guide with original articles, photos, and videos, sharing information about Kefalonia.

My vision is to offer readers and travellers an authentic glimpse into Kefalonia, focusing on those seeking an experience rather than just a holiday—those who want to connect with our nature, customs, and people.

Hi, I'm Lukas, the person behind Anna Votsi's website, www.kefaloniabyanna.com. I've been fortunate to be part of this project from the very beginning, watching and helping it grow and evolve.

My fascination with computers started when I was a kid, and I've been online since 1994 – back when the internet was a very different place! That early experience sparked a passion for technology, which led me to become a web developer.

I love the challenge of building websites from the ground up, and I'm always excited to see how they can help businesses and individuals connect with the world. For Anna, that meant creating a beautiful and functional online space to showcase her work related to Kefalonia.

It's been a rewarding journey to collaborate with Anna and contribute to her success. I'm proud of the work we've done together on www.kefaloniabyanna.com, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for her online presence.
