Arriving into Poros can be an impressive welcome to the visitor as the small picturesque village is surrounded by a unique landscape of little hills with lush green vegetation. The long beach named Ragia that lays in front of the village and stretches to the north of the coast is partly an organised beach, close to tavernas and cafes, ideal for those seeking relaxation. It is pebbly with small colourful stones and partly sandy contrasting the green colour of the crystal clear waters enjoys the sun all day, so it is ideal for an early morning swim. On the beautiful coastal road to the famous resort of Skala one can stop in the little coves of Limenia, where a lot of the locals take their swim.
