Captain Michalis takes passengers on his traditional wooden Greek fishing boat, leaving from the port of Agia Pelagia in Svoronata . Guests are invited to join in with collecting the catch if they wish, after which lunch is served and you can visit isolated beaches before returning. He also specialises in fishing trips for swordfish.
We offer daily cruises, sunset cruises and special event private cruises.
Are you ready to enjoy a boat ride on a Traditional Wooden Greek fishing boat in the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea? Meet dolphins and the Caretta Caretta sea turtle close-up?
We start early in the morning, around 8:00 a.m., from the port of Agia Pelagia in Svoronata (it may be possible if required to collect passengers from other ports).
We head for the place where Captain Michalis has already cast his net the previous night. Guests are invited to join in with collecting the catch if they wish to, which will then be cleaned and stored in refrigerators on board, or to fish for lobster!
After fishing is complete, a guided tour follows to the most beautiful beaches of the island – only accessible by boat. There our guests can swim , relax and enjoy a lunch of organic vegetables from the Captain’s garden and our catch of the day, washed down with local Kefalonian wine from the Captain’s vineyard.
After lunch, we take a leisurely cruise back to the port arriving at around 15:00. Fish will be able to purchase at the end of the day.
We also offer specialised fishing trips for swordfish.
Special days can be arranged fishing with fishing rods (lunch not included).
Duration & time of fishing trip 08:00 – 16:00.
The fishing trips are organised daily, but we also offer private hire for groups at an additional cost.
You can also join us on a Sunset Trip (please check with us for dates) leaving port at 17:00 and returning at 23:00

Hi my family and I are staying in Kefalonia in August for our 5th trip to you beautiful island. We are staying in Svoronata and would like to take your boat trip (help with catch & lunch trip) on either the 11th or 12th August.
