Retaining their charming Kefalonian farmhouse exteriors the cottages have been drawn seamlessly into the 21st century with pared-back contemporary interiors.
Christiana, the owner, is an archaeologist with an eye for detail and a flair for interior design. She has carefully selected high quality furniture, soft furnishings and linens for luxurious comfort. The cottages provide the perfect luxury retreat built in spacious gardens with varied fruit trees (figs, walnut, pomegranate, lemon, oranges and olive), vineyards and flowers.
Nestled above the cliffs overlooking the amazing cove of Pessada the cottages are within close proximately to the sea so guests can enjoy a cool breeze through the trees and in the evening can delight in the night sky. The two cottages can be used together for friends and family or rented independently. There is a private entrance and drive to each of the properties; they are situated at 70m apart. Both properties have fully fitted kitchens making self-catering easy and enjoyable, even for the most demanding guests.
Located in the traditional village of Pessada which retains a feeling and atmosphere of the past. The cottages are within walking distance to a local canteen serving snacks, a basic mini-market (the big supermarkets are just 4km drive) and to the small fishing port of Pessada that serves the ferry to neighbouring Zante. There are some more day boat trips offered in the area as well and many other amazing beaches and attractions close-by such as St. Thomas, Trapezaki and Spartia, the airport and Argostoli (the capital) are also very close.

Cottage Meliti – beautiful ambience, modern and practical. The cottage is in a great location, just a few steps from the sea, with a sandy beach. Not far away is another sandy beach, really beautiful. It offers a beautiful view of the bay and the open sea. The cottage is moderen and has everything you need. The kitchen is modern, with all aparature, also with a dishwasher and washingmachine The bed are very comfortable. From the large terrace you can observe the whole estate, where many fruit trees grow. Figs, lemons … You can just pluck it with your hand. . Direct sea view.
The location is great. Close to the airport and with the possibility to cross the whole island. I highly recommend Melini cottage. Best for a couple or a family with one child.
