The house was owned by Count Deladetsima who fell on hard times and the house was auctioned in 1874 when the family of the current owners purchased it. Αlthough we do not have the exact date of construction, the house is first mentioned in a Venetian plan of the port dated 1756 then called Porto Santa Efimia.
The house is fully modernised with air conditioning, airy spacious bedrooms, tiled modern bathrooms, balconies overlooking the harbour and a private terrace at the rear, the living area has generous proportions with plenty of comfortable sofas and a large kitchen diner.
