Soap
Olive oil has been known since ancient times for its exceptional nutritional properties as well as for beneficial properties on the skin. Pure olive oil is the simplest, most effective and tolerable skin cleanser. The saponification with olive oil is an ancient knowledge of Mediterranean civilisation and since the past it has been useful to man to make cosmetics and medicines. In cosmetics it is ideal for softening and nourishing, in soap making it is the most noble and genuine fat to be used to obtain a healthy, skin-repairing organic soap.
The island of Kefalonia, lush in high quality extra virgin olive oil, offers artisans the raw material to carry on the tradition of making natural olive oil soaps that you can find also enriched with essential oils and flowers. The procedure provides high quality soap that can be used on face, body, hair, shaving and it will treat dry skin problems, hair loss, allergies and other skin issues, it will help bedridden people and also cleans stubborn stains on clothes.

Royal Jelly
Royal jelly is a highly nutritious substance that young bees make to feed queen bee larvae and it offers a range of health benefits like antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties while pollen is a natural food which is very rich in protein, the bees’ antiseptic at our service, it has a strong antimicrobial and antioxidant action. That is what Eleni & Thanassis local beekeepers experts of Diaz Apiary, have been working with since 1988. As a family business, they practice nomadic beekeeping in Kefalonia. they produce small quantities of almost all beekeeping products: honey, pollen, royal jelly, propolis and wax. Since 1995, they have been using chemical-free methods to deal with the natural enemies and diseases that bees encounter. For instance, to fight against the Varroa Destructor mite, they use a thermal chamber of their own development (Patent number: 1005196). Since 2002 they have certified their products as organic.
Some of those products are seasonal and often available in small quantities, and are therefore not always available throughout the year
